Connecting Mothers

Life is best experienced through an environment where you can develop authentic and meaningful relationships and learn to grow closer to God.

What Does An Authentic Relationship Look Like?
(the ABC's of authentic community)

We, as humans, naturally Care for others that we know well. In order to know some one well you need to develop a meaningful relationship, a comfortable relationship, a relationship where you encourage one another through life changes.

In order to meet that goal you have to make your relationships intentional.  The sense of Belonging or feeling connected and accepted from others comes from consistant connections. The kind of connections where you share who you are and who you want to become.

With authentic relationships, people you place in your life through these consistant connections are there to challenge you in your growth, priorities and relationships.  Ask yourself…What would it look like to have a friend that saw you were stepping off the path to head down a hill that would eventually end up in the blackberry bushes, yet stopped you for a moment and said…. “ Those are thorns and vines that you can’t easily get out of down that hill. Are you sure you want to go there?” How many cuts and bruises do you think you could avoid? This kind of Accountability is one of the keys to real relationships and real change.

The Challenge of Growing in God's Purposes

It's no doubt that intimacy with God can be obtained on ones own time. This type of connection is defined as a continual pursuit of a one on one relationship with God. But when you are in an environment that can challenge you and others in this intimacy, it can take you and them places in their relationship with God and others that might not have been achieved alone. A spiritual growth not bound by a singular person’s limitations, but connected by community love and commitment.

"A new command I give you:
Love one another. As I have loved you,
so you must love one another.
All
men will know that you are my disciples,
if you love one another."   John 13:34-35
